Reliable Hardware Syndicate was started in the 1940’s by Mr. Abbasbhoy Champion. It was to cater to the growing need of the local markets for industrial valves and related products. With small setup at its inception and a distributorship of only one brand and a limited product range , today Reliable has significantly increased its product range to include over 300 different products with multiple brands serving clients all over India. Reliable has distinguished itself in the market by offering top notch service and technical support to its clients.

Mr. Abbasbhoy Ibrahimbhoy Champion
Founding Partner
Abbasbhoy is the pioneer in establishing one of the oldest industrial trading company in Chennai, India. He came to Chennai in his early 20’s to set up a business that could meet the growing demand for industrial valves and related ancillaries in India. He is currently 102 years old and still mentors his team and other businesses. Abbasbhoy has been involved in many charitable and social activities.
Mr. Fakhruddin Abbasbhoy Champion
Partner & Managing Director
Fakhruddin has been the second generation business leader who has been the backbone of the business and has taken Reliable to where it is today. Under his leadership, Reliable has grown many folds. Fakhruddin is technically astute in Industrial valves and has an experience of over 43 years in the business.
Ms. Arwa Fakhruddin
Business Development Director – International Operations
Arwa is the third generation in the Reliable legacy. Arwa has her education in Finance and has worked at reputed banks in the UK. She is passionate to take Reliable business to international markets and have its place on the global footprint. In her free time, Arwa likes to read and invest in financial instruments.
